While the motorcycle is yet to be launched, some of the paint schemes have already been revealed thanks to the spy shots and videos. Now, a new spy video has surfaced online revealing that the new Classic 350 will have a Chrome livery similar to the one available with the 2021 Royal Enfield Interceptor 650.

We can see in the spy video that the new Royal Enfield Classic 350 looks very classy and elegant in the Chrome colour. This finish has been done on the front and rear fender as well as on the fuel tank. Accompanying the Chrome, we have a red colour to spice things up a little. We have seen this combination in the 2021 Royal Enfield Interceptor 650, which also looks pretty eye-catching.

The Chrome colour option of the new Royal Enfield Classic 350 features the same 3D logo on the fuel tank which the company uses in the 2021 model of the Interceptor 650. This certainly increases the premium-ness of the motorcycle. And most likely, this paint scheme will be made available with the top-end variant.

The spy video also shows us that the side panels of the new Royal Enfield Classic 350 have been done in black and should add a good contrast over the chrome parts. The rims of this model and the engine casings will also be finished in chrome, imparting more elegance to the motorcycle.

As per the spy video, the new Royal Enfield Classic 350 will also have another variant of this Chrome colour in which, instead of red, there will be black used on the tank and fenders. This combination will be similar to the one which used to come with the previous model of the Royal Enfield Interceptor 650. The addition of these two paint schemes will make the new Classic 350 even more desirable. Don’t you think so?

Modified Royal Enfield Classic Looks Like Proper Jawa Perak Rival https://indianautosblog.com/modified-royal-enfield-classic-bobber-jawa-perak-rival-p324076 Mon, 12 Jul 2021 10:30:58 +0000 https://indianautosblog.com/?p=324076 While the Royal Enfield Classic locks horns with Classic Legend’s Jawa, here’s a bobber version of the motorcycle that has been created so well that it can give the Jawa Perak a run for its money. And the best part, the conversion has been made possible by using a bolt-on kit which, apparently, takes 60 minutes to slap onto an original Royal Enfield Classic.

Royal Enfield Classic Bobber Kit Rear Right

The Royal Enfield Classic that you see in the pictures here (uploaded by “BoltOn Design” on Instagram) is fitted with a bobber bolt-on kit which consists of several parts such as a bobber seat, vintage tank strap, side number plate holder, indicator clamps, and more. As the name suggests, the purpose of this kit is to change the look of your Classic to match a retro-styled bobber like the Jawa Perak. And we must say, it works quite well.

The kit also contains parts that allow you to extend the swingarm of your Royal Enfield Classic. There’s also a mini mono suspension for the rear that is said to provide a plush and comfortable ride quality. Then, of course, we have the bobber seat that indeed plays a crucial role in giving the motorcycle a propper bobber look. However, if you want to have a pillion seat, the guys at Bolt on Designs also provide that as optional extras. Some of the other items in this list include a personalised badge, bobber-style handlebar, metal body taillight and indicators, and black rims.

Royal Enfield Classic Bobber Seat

With the bobber kit installed, the Royal Enfield Classic certainly looks more appealing, doesn’t it? And the fact that it is a simple bolt-on kit makes the entire package an overall better deal. Let us know what do you have to say about it in the comment section below.

New Royal Enfield Classic 350 Launch Nears, Latest Spy Video Suggests https://indianautosblog.com/new-royal-enfield-classic-350-launch-spy-video-p323768 Wed, 02 Jun 2021 06:00:37 +0000 https://indianautosblog.com/?p=323768 The new Royal Enfield Classic 350 has been spotted yet again. The latest spy video suggests that the upcoming 350cc motorcycle could be launched in India soon.

Royal Enfield has been testing the new Classic 350 for quite a while now. Prototypes of the forthcoming model have been sighted undergoing road tests several times in the past. Now, the new motorcycle has been spotted once again, however, this time it appears to be in a production-ready state.

The new Royal Enfield Classic 350 that has been caught on camera is wearing no camouflage whatsoever. It is rocking a black colour scheme, however, there are no stickers or logos. Other than that, the motorcycle also has red split seats, chrome exhaust, and wire-spoke wheels. We can also see the chrome treatment on the tail light, side turn signals, headlight mask, and rearview mirrors.

New Royal Enfield Classic 350 Spy Shot Right Quart

As for the features, the new Royal Enfield Classic 350 has a revised instrument cluster. It has a digital display that will show information such as the fuel level, odometer, trip meter, and service indicator. The new motorcycle also has Royal Enfield’s Tripper Navigation system that made its debut with the Meteor 350 and has been included in the new Himalayan as well.

The new Royal Enfield Classic 350 is based on the company’s J-platform and hence is powered by the newly-developed 349cc single-cylinder engine that we have already experienced on the Meteor. This motor is capable of producing 20.2bhp of max power and 27Nm of peak torque. Its highlight is the presence of an advanced SOHC and a balancer shaft that help in keeping the vibration levels to a minimum.

New Royal Enfield Classic 350 Spy Shot Cockpit

While Royal Enfield hasn’t released any official statement regarding the launch of the new Classic 350 as of now, the latest spy video suggests that the new motorcycle could see the light of the day very soon. In fact, perhaps, if it wasn’t for the second wave of Covid-19, the new Royal Enfield Classic 350 would have already been introduced in the market.

Can Royal Enfield Meteor 350 Beat Classic 350 in Top-End Drag Race? https://indianautosblog.com/royal-enfield-meteor-350-classic-350-drag-race-p323721 Fri, 28 May 2021 14:30:10 +0000 https://indianautosblog.com/?p=323721 Currently, the Royal Enfield Meteor 350 is the only motorcycle in the Chennai-based company’s entire product lineup that’s based on the firm’s new 350cc platform. The new Royal Enfield Classic 350 built on the same platform has been spotted several times in the past undergoing testing. While we are still waiting for the new model to come out, let’s see how does the existing one perform against the Meteor 350. So, here’s a video that shows a top-end drag race between the two motorcycles.

Before we start with the video, let’s have a quick look at the specs of both motorcycles. The Meteor 350 has got 20.2 bhp of max power and 27 Nm of peak torque. On the other hand, 19.1 bhp and 28 Nm is what we get in the Royal Enfield Classic 350.

Aspects Royal Enfield Meteor 350 Royal Enfield Classic 350
Engine type Single-cylinder, air-oil cooled, fuel-injected Single-cylinder, air-cooled, fuel-injected
Displacement 349cc 346cc
Max power 20.2 bhp at 6100 rpm 19.1 bhp at 5250 rpm
Max torque 27 Nm at 4000 rpm 28 Nm at 4000 rpm
Gearbox 5-speed 5-speed

Now, coming to the drag race, we can see in the video that in the first race attempt, the Royal Enfield Classic 350 is quicker off the line, perhaps, because of the 1 Nm extra torque. However, it isn’t able to pull away from and the Meteor 350 easily gets past. Since then, there’s no looking back for the Meteor as it continues to gain speed and increase the gap from the Classic. It manages to touch 120 kmph and wins the race. Even the Classic 350 also reaches 120 kmph, however, it takes its sweet to attain this speed.

The riders switch motorcycles for the second race attempt to keep things fair and square. Once again, the Meteor 350 takes the lead without breaking a sweat. With a top speed of just over 120 kmph, it wins the race by a considerable margin. On the other hand, this time, the Classic 350 falls just short of 120 kmph and finishes second. So, even though the output figures of both motorcycles are nearly identical, the Royal Enfield Meteor 350 easily beats the Classic 350 in both races.

Production of Royal Enfield Meteor, Classic, Others Halted Temporarily https://indianautosblog.com/royal-enfield-meteor-classic-others-production-halted-temporarily-p323528 Thu, 13 May 2021 04:33:54 +0000 https://indianautosblog.com/?p=323528 Production of Royal Enfield Meteor 350, Classic and other RE models have been temporarily halted. The oldest continuous-production motorcycle manufacturer in the world has decided to shut down its plants in Chennai considering the ongoing health situation caused by the second wave of COVID-19.

Royal Enfield has announced that its manufacturing operations across Thiruvottiyur, Oragadam and Vallam Vadagal facilities will remain shut between Thursday, 13 May 2021 and Sunday, 16 May 2021. During this period, the company will undertake maintenance activities at its factories.

Royal Enfield has also said that considering the local lockdowns across states and Union Territories impacting retail operations, it does not foresee any significant impact of temporarily halting production on its ability to fulfil the demand. However, the company will continue to monitor the situation closely and take appropriate actions as the situation progresses; and in line with the directives being issued by the government and administrative authorities.

Royal Enfield teams are focused on ensuring support for employees and communities around its facilities. The company has issued advisories to all dealerships in India to adhere to local regulations and follow local administrative orders, as may apply. All other employees across Royal Enfield's offices, including corporate offices in Chennai and Gurgaon, continue to work from home until further notice.

Royal Enfield is not the only automobile company to shut down its manufacturing facilities in light of the second wave of the deadly coronavirus. Earlier this month, Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India Pvt. Ltd. (HMSI) had also announced that it will temporarily halt the production operations across all its four manufacturing plants in the country (from 1st May to 15th May 2021).

In other news, expanding its footprint in Southeast Asia even further, Royal Enfield has started its operations in Singapore. It has set up a new flagship store at Ubi road.

Expanding its footprint in Southeast Asia even further, Royal Enfield has now entered Singapore. The oldest continuous-production motorcycle manufacturer in the world will reach out to its customers in the city-state via its new flagship store located at Ubi road. Royal Enfield is expanding aggressively across Asia as it aims to tap into the world’s biggest motorcycle market after India. The company now operates in several countries in the region including Japan, Indonesia, and the Philippines. In Thailand, RE has 36 showrooms and plans to open a new factory which would be the second overseas plant for the company after its manufacturing facility in Argentina. Royal Enfield’s Thailand plant would be a hub for exports to other countries in Asia.

In the last few years, Royal Enfield has started its operations in several ASEAN (Association of Southeast Asian Nations) countries including Vietnam, the Philippines, Malaysia and Indonesia. With the brand’s major share of sales coming from India, which is the world’s biggest market for motorcycles, Royal Enfield will be increasingly looking to expand its presence in other strong motorcycle markets in the region.

In other news, Royal Enfield had filed a trademark application for the moniker “Royal Enfield Shotgun”. The application was submitted online in April 2021. While any further details about the same are unavailable at the moment, speculations say that the company could be planning to use this name for its upcoming 650cc Cruiser.

Royal Enfield Classic 350 Modified into Rugged-Looking Cruiser https://indianautosblog.com/modified-royal-enfield-classic-350-cruiser-p323485 Tue, 11 May 2021 13:00:39 +0000 https://indianautosblog.com/?p=323485 Hyderabad-based motorcycle customiser, EIMOR Customs, have got their hands on a Royal Enfield Classic 350 which they have remodelled into a rugged-looking cruiser. They have worked to fulfil the requirements of a client. The result is an eye-catching Royal Enfield that most people would fail to recognise as a Classic 350. EIMOR Customs have named it the Black Magic 2.0.

Modified Royal Enfield Classic 350 Cruiser Front Right

It can be seen in the images that a lot of work has been put in to convert this Royal Enfield Classic 350 into the way it looks now. To begin with, the stock fuel tank has been replaced by a custom piece that is placed on the motorcycle at an angle giving a more macho look. If you look closely, the flowing lines of the fuel tank are in sync with those of the new side panels.

To provide a proper cruiser stance, this Royal Enfield Classic 350 uses a custom seat. It flaunts its retro stitching design and looks like it would offer a good amount of comfort to the rider. We can’t say so about the pillion though. The handlebar, along with the rearview mirrors, has also been changed. The motorcycle also features square-profiled fenders for a sportier look. Some of the other changes include an aftermarket LED headlamp, dual-purpose wide tyres, alloy wheels, vintage-looking side turn signals and taillamp, and more.

Modified Classic 350 Cruiser Instrument Cluster

EIMOR Customs have also swapped the stock telescopic front forks with a pair of USD forks. These are finished in silver and, thus, add a good contrast to the otherwise black motorcycle. Another interesting element is the fully digital instrument cluster. It’s a small, single dial that should display some of the basic information such as the speed, trip meter, odometer, fuel level, etc.

In related news, the next-gen Royal Enfield Classic 350 has been undergoing road testing for quite a while now. It would come equipped with several new parts and features including an updated instrument cluster with integrated Tripper Navigation and digital display. Royal Enfield is expected to launch the next-gen Classic 350 soon. However, considering the current health situation in the country caused by the second wave of the coronavirus, we might see some delays.

It will feature a display under the speedometer that will show information such as fuel level, clock, odometer, trip meter, and more. There’s also going to be a module for the company’s Tripper Navigation system which made its debut with the Royal Enfield Meteor 350 last year.

The earlier spy shots had also revealed that the upcoming Classic 350 will have a small display located below the speedometer. Now, in the latest turn of events, the new Royal Enfield Classic 350 instrument console has been caught on camera and the spy video shows the system functioning, thus, revealing some more features of the forthcoming motorcycle.

We can see in the footage that as soon as the key is turned to the “on” position, the speedometer needle do a full swipe and the tell-tale indicators, along with both the displays, light up. The analogue dial shows speeds in both km/h and mph. The screen located right below it displays details such as the fuel level, odometer, trip meter, and service indicator. With close observation, we find that it will also have a clock. We also see “Eco” on the RHS of the display which could mean the current fuel consumption rate.

The video clip also shows the Tripper Navigation display. Unlike in the new Royal Enfield Himalayan, the Tripper Navigation dial has been integrated very neatly in the upcoming Classic 350. To refresh your memory, this system made its debut with the Royal Enfield Meteor 350 that was introduced in the Indian market last year. It allows riders to connect their smartphones to it via Bluetooth and benefit from the turn-by-turn navigation details. It is powered by Google Maps and Royal Enfield app.

Royal Enfield Classic 350 Visualised as a Proper Bagger - Rendering https://indianautosblog.com/royal-enfield-classic-350-bagger-rendering-p323134 Fri, 09 Apr 2021 09:15:45 +0000 https://indianautosblog.com/?p=323134 An automotive artist called “eka_custom_designs” has given a Royal Enfield Classic 350 a visual makeover. The retro-styled motorcycle has been neatly transformed into a proper bagger that certainly demands attention. Let’s check out what all changes have been made to achieve this eye-catching rendering.

Royal Enfield Classic 350 Bagger Rendering
The Bagger edition of the Royal Enfield Classic 350 looks quite eye-catching.

Starting from the front end, this Royal Enfield Classic 350 bagger rendering features a large windscreen that is one of the key elements of a bagger. It protects the rider from windblast, especially while cruising on highways at high speeds. The headlamp has been lowered down a bit to gel with the overall design of the motorcycle. It has also been given some chrome treatment. The spoke wheels have been replaced by alloy wheels that are fitted with disc brakes for improved braking performance. The front fender has been redesigned to be in sync with the theme.

The artist has fitted a differently-styled brown seat. We think it should have been placed a bit towards the rear so that the larger handlebar could have been at a proper distance from the rider, thus, providing a comfortable riding stance. The rear fender has been altered. It houses a new taillight cluster that is fitted on the lower end.

Royal Enfield Classic 350 Pure Black Right Side
The Classic 350 is still adored by enthusiasts for its retro-styled charm.

Adding to the overall bagger style is the hard case pannier. It appears to be of a decent capacity and hence, should be able to accommodate luggage for a short trip. The chrome-plated exhaust enhances the motorcycle’s overall blacked-out look. We can also find the use of chrome on the side turn signals. The rearview mirrors have been changed, too. They are now smaller in size and finished in chrome. The engine of the motorcycle has been left untouched. While it isn’t the most ideal motor for a bagger, it should be able to get the job done.

Looking closely at the latest spy shots of the new Royal Enfield Classic 350, which have been taken by Royal Bangalorean Raj, we notice that the motorcycle has a black pannier installed on the RHS. It’s very likely that to mount this pannier, some kind of mounting rails must be fitted on the motorbike. However, they aren’t visible in the pictures here.

Analysing the spy images of the upcoming Royal Enfield Classic 350, we find that there’s a rear rack installed, too. It looks pretty sturdy and should be able to hold 3-7kg of luggage. These accessories are likely to be made optional at the time of buying the new Classic 350 which is expected to be launched later this year. Customers would be able to customise the forthcoming Classic 350 as per their needs via the MiY (Make it Yours) program.

The new Royal Enfield Classic 350 would be powered by the same 349cc single-cylinder engine that has made its debut with the Royal Enfield Meteor 350 last year. It was introduced in the Meteor 350 and later included in the 2021 Royal Enfield Himalayan. Royal Enfield Classic 650 - Here’s How it Would Look Like https://indianautosblog.com/royal-enfield-classic-650-rendering-p322783 Mon, 08 Mar 2021 09:30:39 +0000 https://indianautosblog.com/?p=322783 There have been speculations in the recent past that a Royal Enfield Classic 650 is under development. While the Chennai-based two-wheeler giant has not released any official statement about the same, we do know that the company is indeed working on multiple bikes based on its highly successful 650cc platform thanks to the various spy shots.

The much-awaited 650cc Royal Enfield Cruiser has been spied testing several times. And it is being anticipated that Royal Enfield Meteor 650 and Royal Enfield Classic 650 are also in the pipeline. In fact, in late February 2021, a spy video surfaced on the internet that had caught the upcoming 650cc Royal Enfield Cruiser undergoing road testing. Interestingly, the footage had also captured two more different prototypes which appear to be based on the same 650cc platform. One of them could be the Royal Enfield Classic 650.

While we definitely need to be patient to get any official confirmation about the new 650cc Royal Enfield bikes, we don’t need to wait to see how the alleged Classic 650 would look like. Here’s a rendering of the same created by our very own in-house digital artist Shoeb R. Kalania.

The Royal Enfield Classic 650 rendering shows us that the motorcycle would more or less have a design that we are quite familiar with. However, there are some new features. For example, the front suspension duties would be handled by a pair of USD forks which are likely to make their debut with the 650cc Cruiser. We also see a slightly revised saddle and pillion grab rail. The rear end consists of a new taillight cluster and turn indicators.

Undoubtedly, the biggest change is quite prominent. It’s the heart of the motorcycle. The Royal Enfield Classic 650 is expected to draw power from the same 648cc twin-cylinder engine which we have experienced on the Interceptor 650 and Continental GT 650. It’s a sweet motor with a 270-degree firing order resulting in a melodious exhaust note. It is capable of producing 47hp of max power at 7250rpm and 52Nm of peak torque at 5250rpm and is mated to a 6-speed gearbox accompanied by slip and assist clutch.

Royal Enfield Meteor 650 Render
Royal Enfield is also said to be working on a Meteor 650. This is its rendering.

While the Royal Enfield Classic 650 does make sense, we think that Royal Enfield would first introduce the next-gen Classic 350 that would feature the brand’s newly developed 349cc single-cylinder engine that made its debut with the Royal Enfield Meteor 350.

Royal Enfield Classic 350 vs Jawa 42 - Top-End Battle of Retro Bikes https://indianautosblog.com/royal-enfield-classic-350-jawa-42-top-end-race-p322747 Fri, 05 Mar 2021 05:00:46 +0000 https://indianautosblog.com/?p=322747 Royal Enfield Classic 350 and Jawa 42 are two popular models in the 300-350cc retro motorcycle category. Both bikes come equipped with several features and elements that differentiate them from the other offerings in the segment. While looks can be subjective, we would certainly like to know, between the Classic 350 and Jawa 42, who will win in a top-end battle.

In the search for an answer for Classic 350 and Jawa 42, we have stumbled upon a video, uploaded by YouTuber KSC Vlogs, which shows a top-end race between the Royal Enfield Classic 350 and Jawa 42. We can see in the footage that the riders make two attempts. Before we jump into the race, let’s have a look at the specs of both the motorcycles in question here.

Powering the Classic 350 is a 346cc single-cylinder engine that produces 19.1 bhp of maximum power at 5,250 rpm and generates 28 Nm of peak torque at 4,000 rpm. The transmission here is a 5-speed gearbox. On the other hand, the Jawa 42 uses a 293cc single-cylinder motor that pumps out 27.33PS of max power and 27.02Nm of peak torque. So, both motorcycles have are nearly identical output figures.

Now, coming back to the race, we can see in the video that in the first attempt, the Jawa 42 rider gets off the mark first and takes the lead. Within a few seconds, the gap between the two motorcycles increases substantially. We also see that the Jawa rider isn’t even tucking down to avoid windblast and is still able to get away from the Royal Enfield. Eventually, the 42 wins.

Now, for the second attempt, the riders switch motorcycles and the race begins. Again, the Jawa 42 is blazingly quick off the line. It easily takes on the lead and stays there till the end. So, the 42 wins again. While rider skills do play a major role in such scenarios, the fact that the Classic 350 weighs a whopping 195kg worked in favour of the Jawa 42 which tips the scale at 172kg.

Royal Enfield Meteor 650 & Classic 650 Under Development? https://indianautosblog.com/royal-enfield-meteor-650-classic-650-p322684 Thu, 25 Feb 2021 04:45:21 +0000 https://indianautosblog.com/?p=322684 A recent spy video uploaded by YouTuber Royal Bangalorean Raj has caught the upcoming 650cc Royal Enfield Cruiser coasting on a highway at 120-130km/h. However, that was not the only twin-cylinder motorcycle captured in the footage. The clip also shows two other bikes. Could they be a Royal Enfield Meteor 650 and a Classic 650?

We can see in the video that apart from the 650cc Cruiser, the other two motorcycles have blacked-out dual exhausts for a sportier look. Also, the ergonomics on these bikes are different. The riders are sitting much higher up from the ground in an upright posture. In terms of aesthetics, both these motorcycles feature a familiar round taillamp with circular turn indicators for a modern-classic look.

Just like the 650cc Cruiser, the alleged Royal Enfield Meteor 650 and Classic 650 would use a similar set of features. They would come equipped with a pair of USD front forks, disc brakes on both ends with dual-channel ABS, Tripper Navigation, twin shock absorbers at the rear, etc.

As for the engine, the Chennai-based company is very likely to use the same 648cc twin-cylinder motor that comes fitted in the Interceptor 650 and Continental GT 650 and has been received very well by the global audience. In the 650 Twins, this mill with a 270-degree firing order produces 47hp at 7250rpm and 52Nm at 5250rpm. It is mated to a 6-speed gearbox which is accompanied by a slipper and assist clutch.

Considering how well Royal Enfield’s 650cc platform has performed ever since its inception in 2018, it was only a matter of time before RE started to come out with more products based on the same platform. With the data available at the moment, it seems that there are at least 3 new 650cc motorcycles in the pipeline.

Royal Enfield Classic 350 or Harley-Davidson Iron 883? Impressive mods! https://indianautosblog.com/royal-enfield-classic-350-harley-davidson-iron-883-modified-p322641 Fri, 19 Feb 2021 06:45:53 +0000 https://indianautosblog.com/?p=322641 We’ve seen numerous modified Royal Enfield Classic 350 motorcycles in the past. However, this time we’ve stumbled upon a very interesting custom build which really looks apart. In fact, it has been modified so well that, for once, you’d get confused whether it’s a Royal Enfield Classic 350 or a Harley-Davidson Iron 883!

We can see in the video above that a lot of work has been put into this Classic 350 to make it look like the Iron 883. To begin with, the stock fuel tank has been replaced by an aftermarket one which is similar to that of the Harley-Davidson. The riding stance of the motorcycle has also been tweaked. There’s an Iron 883-like single speedometer and round LED headlight with a stylish ring. The turn indicators are aftermarket as well. The side panels are painted in glossy black and feature Harley-Davidson lettering.

We also like the bright orange wrap which is indeed eye-catching. The aftermarket exhaust is finished in black and also features a heat wrap in the front portion of the header pipe. While the chrome end cap looks decent, the golden touches on the heat shields could have also been left black. Similarly, the seat would have looked much better if the orange highlights were not added. But overall, the motorcycle has a pretty interesting visual appeal.

Some of the other mods include a thin LED strip for the taillight has been pasted on the rear fender, the license plate has been relocated to the RHS of the bike just above the muffler, bar-end mirrors and fork gaiters have been added for a bold and muscular front look. As far as the mechanicals are concerned, we don’t think any tinkering has been done with the engine, suspension, and brakes of the motorcycle.

Modified Royal Enfield Classic 350 Fitted With Digital Meter [Video] https://indianautosblog.com/modified-royal-enfield-classic-350-digital-meter-p322590 Sat, 13 Feb 2021 09:05:30 +0000 https://indianautosblog.com/?p=322590 One of the reasons why the Royal Enfield Classic 350 is so popular among the masses, as well as motorcycle customisers, is its simple construction. Things are so uncomplicated that the bike does not even feature a fuel gauge or trip meter. Its instrument cluster consists of an analogue speedometer with inbuilt odometer and a few tell-tale lights. While the newer iterations do come fitted with a low-fuel indicator and ABS malfunction light, earlier models used to have an ammeter instead.

Perhaps, after getting annoyed by this simplicity, a Royal Enfield Classic 350 owner decided to get some modifications done on his motorcycle. Along with many other mods, he also went ahead with a fully-digital meter which can be seen in detail in the video above that has been uploaded by YouTuber Ayush Verma.

We can infer from the video that this particular Royal Enfield Classic 350 is a 2014 model. Several modifications have been incorporated to make it look brand-new. It has received a fresh paint job which is similar to the Stealth Black colour option available with the current dual-channel ABS model. The motorcycle also runs on aftermarket alloy wheels. The stock indicator bulbs have been replaced with LED units. The headlamp is also full-LED and flaunts an amber outer ring when illuminated. While no mechanical changes have been implemented, an aftermarket exhaust has indeed been added.

Now, coming to the showstopper, the fully-digital meter. Even though it is an aftermarket part, it seems that it has been designed for the Classic 350 because it fits perfectly in place of the stock speedometer. It has a small screen which shows information such as speed, fuel gauge. It also contains various indicators like turn signal, high beam, neutral, and low-fuel. There’s also a trip meter which can be toggled by an external switch mounted on the handlebar.

While there aren’t a plethora of features available in the fully-digital meter, it contains most of the basic elements. It also enhances the overall appeal of the motorcycle. What do you have to say about it? Let us know with a comment below.
